My thanks to Stacy Oliver for doing such a great job for me today in terms of hair and makeup on this shoot. There are often many people involved in the photos you see in magazines that never get their due. Ashli was a perfect subject, took great direction and just overall was very patient with the process of making the photographs today. The clean backgrounds are mostly due to the lens I used to achieve this simple effect, the Canon EF400mm f/2.8L IS lens. I also used a Radio Popper to send wireless signals to sync my strobe to fire on each frame, which is a great help to be cordless on location. Here are the results:
